THE National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) plans to stage an international tournament in Davao City to give a venue for Mindanao players to earn IM norms.
NCFP president Prospero "Butch" Pichay bared this in a speech during the opening of the Davao National Fide-Rated Open Chess Tournament opening rites Monday at the Gaisano South (GS) Citimall.
